What Kind of Things Do I Need to Have Ready For a Feng Shui Consultation?

In Feng Shui, every consultation is unique according to the circumstances... however the things we need to have for each consultation is the same.

In any Feng Shui consultation we examine both the seen and the unseen influences so that we can be really accurate no matter which type of consultation it is.

For instance if we are problem solving bad luck situations, renovating an existing home or office, creating Good Fortune for existing Feng Shui... we need the same information for each of these things and we look into the unseen influences of the building to pin point how to arrange each of these things.

What do I need?

1.

A floor plan of the building (that shows the floor plan layout 'in scale' or proper proportion).

2.

You need to know the approximate time era the building was constructed (according to the Feng Shui 'Ages' shown below) or we can use the "Move in Date" of the occupants. Both of these methods have their own merits and can be used to pin-point problems and create good Feng Shui.

3.

The birthdates of all the people who occupy the building.

4.

Time set aside to work with your Feng Shui Consultant to create the new energy for your building.

Feng Shui 'Ages' for Building Construction or "Move in" Dates

In Feng Shui the time eras or "ages" go in twenty year cycles - which gives everyone a bit of scope. However, within that, we need to make sure we are accurate - otherwise the entire consultation can be wrong. Please note: if you renovate or add a large extension onto your building that new add on, may be built/constructed during a different time era - which would automatically give the new extension a differnet building horoscope (to the original building). When using the Construction date it is not uncommon to have a building that has three of four different building horoscopes

The Building Dates most likely to apply to your Building are:

Age 1 - Building Constructed between: Feb 4th 1864 - Jan 1883

Age 2 - Building Constructed between: Feb 4th 1884 - Jan 1903

Age 3 - Building Constructed between: Feb 4th 1904 - Jan 1923

Age 4 - Building Constructed (or you "Moved In") between: Feb 4th 1924 - Jan 1943

Age 5 - Building Constructed (or you "Moved In") between: Feb 4th 1944 - Jan 1963

Age 6 - Building Constructed (or you "Moved In") between: Feb 4th 1964 - Jan 1983

Age 7 - Building Constructed (or you "Moved In") between: Feb 4th 1984 - Jan 2003

Age 8 - Building Constructed (or you "Moved In") between: NOW Commenced...Feb 4th 2004 - Jan 2023

The Move in Date

When we do a Feng Shui Consultation based upon the 'Move in Date,' we are looking at the 'Feng Shui time era' in which you moved into the building (according to/using the twenty year spans given above as your reference).

The idea behind this theory is based on an ancient Feng Shui understanding that a building is activated when the people move into it.

Examples:

1. If I constructed or moved into my home in November 1984 - then the building is an Age of 7 Building.

2. If I constructed or moved into my building in October 2001 - then my building is an Age of 7 Building.

3. If I constructed or moved into my building in September 1980 - then my building is an Age 6 Building.

4. If I constructed or moved into my building in March 2004 - then my building is an Age 8 Building.
