The Ancient Founders of Feng Shui Believed that the Universe Was Made From Five Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal (minerals)...

The Five Elements is an intrinsic part of any Feng Shui Consultation. In Feng Shui it is said:

The ashes of the fire nourish the earth...the earth moves and shifts under the ground to create metal, wherever metal is...water is found, water feeds the wood (plants) to make them grow, and wood feeds the fire. This is the eternal cycle...

Five Element Remedies
In Feng Shui, many of the remedies devised by Feng Shui Masters also suit the Flying Stars horoscope of a building. This means that the Flying Stars Horoscope for the Building is showing the five element needs of the building and the Feng Shui Master can identify these and literally "calm the building" at a very deep level. The five elements consist of fire, earth, metal, water, wood.

When Feng Shui Remedies and Cures are applied in this way, the remedies are often 5 times more powerful than ordinary Feng Shui Remedies because the remedy itself is getting deep to the core of the building horoscope and the Feng Shui Problem (or even potential).

This is like having a personalised medicine for your building - whether it is an enhancement medicine or a curative medicine. What this means at a deeper level is, accuracy becomes really important so that we can ensure a successful outcome. In fact, throughout the history of creating Feng Shui remedies, the greatest disasters have always been those where the remedies are not designed to co-ordinate with the five elements (ie they are selected and just "plonked" without any consideration of the 5 elements but they are incorrect in accordance with the 5 elements and then the remedies trigger the negative influences instead of the positive).

The best way to understand this subtle point is to consider the effect if a patient was given the wrong medicine. In fact, it could make the patient worse or even cause his/her death.

Of all the Feng Shui remedies possible, the five elements remedies are the hardest to design. As a Feng Shui Master, I do not recommend designing them yourself, because, without full knowledge of Feng Shui and the Flying Stars building horoscope it is simply not possible to guess the right remedy and your chances of 'intuiting' it are even less. This makes the chances of being successful dangerously slim.
